Job Summary

The Trainer role involves client engagement and coaching through individualized fitness programs and conducting fitness assessments to ensure client safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities include creating tailored exercise plans, tracking client progress, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the fitness environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR/AED certification, and a strong background in customer service and fitness coaching. Physical demands include lifting weights and performing various physical activities. Flexibility in working hours is expected, including potential travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • CPR/AED certification required (must renew proactively before expiration)
  • Proven ability to lead small group sessions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with PF’s mission, values, and operational requirements
  • Physical capability to lift/move up to 45+ pounds and perform tasks like squatting, bending, and prolonged standing

Desired Qualifications

  • Active Personal Training Certification (NCCA-accredited)
  • Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or kinesiology

Additional Requirements

  • PF PT’s shall not pursue training non-members or members outside of a PF facility
  • Conducting personal training, selling personal training packages and/or soliciting personal training not affiliated with PF will not be tolerated
