Job Summary
Deliver onsite training and assessment for apprentices across pre-apprenticeship, school-based, and workplace contexts between Sydney CBD and Wollongong, occasionally traveling overnight at the employer's expense. Facilitate interactive, inclusive, and safe learning environments for the Cert III in Concreting while reviewing training plans, LLN, and pre-training reviews. Communicate with students and employers before sessions, prepare equipment and materials, and ensure environments are suitable and safe. Grade assessments, return results within agreed timeframes, and maintain accurate records in ReadySkills, LMS, and VETtrak. Support student engagement, employer communication, assessment validation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum certificate III trade qualification in Concreting or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in apprenticeship-based training
- Valid Australian working rights
- Working with Children's Check (Employee) or willingness to obtain
- Police Check
- Driver's license
- Willingness to travel to training venues and worksites
- Participation in ongoing PD and compliance training
