Job Summary
Trainee Utility Surveyor role based in our London office, joining a utility, CCTV and drainage surveying team. Learn to conduct on-site surveys using innovative technology and process data in the office while following a structured training program led by experienced surveyors. The role offers outdoors work, varied projects, potential professional accreditation via the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) and opportunities to progress within the geomatics sector. Typical hours align with full-time office hours (9:00–17:30) with overtime and occasional weekends, and travel to project sites with some overnight stays. Training and development included to develop key surveying competencies and career progression.
Required Qualifications
- GCSEs including Maths & English (minimum 5)
- Over 18 years of age
- Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- Willing to travel regularly with some overnight stays
- Ability to commute to London office (Brentwood)
- Interest in outdoor activities or experience working outside
- Health and safety awareness
