Job Summary
Trainee Track Worker needed to join KiwiRail’s maintenance team to perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to rail tracks. The role includes on-the-job training and classroom sessions, operation of tools and minor equipment under supervision, and outdoor work in all weather. The position requires physical fitness, willingness to travel and overnight stays when required, and a commitment to safety and Zero Harm. 40 hours per week on a rotational roster (Mon-Sun). NZ residency/citizenship required and a clean NZ Class 1 licence is essential. Competitive pay and comprehensive training provided with opportunities for career progression.
