Job Summary
Trainee Software Developers (Java) to join one of our R&D teams; 3 to 3.5 months of training to develop enterprise-level applications, with potential for full-time employment based on performance. Training will occur at Contour Software Lahore/Islamabad resource centers as part of the division-based R&D department. Required: BS/MS in Computer Science or related field; strong OO principles; Java, Spring, Spring Boot; REST APIs; Git; SQL; data structures, algorithms, and software design; good communication skills; willingness to learn and work to deadlines; optional frontend knowledge (HTML/CSS). The program aims to prepare candidates to become proficient developers capable of contributing to enterprise systems across CSI/Contour and NorthStar products.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and principles
- Experience or knowledge of Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design
- Comfortable with SQL queries and basic database development concepts
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Knowledge of Git
- A quick learner with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices
- Good to have knowledge of frontend development with HTML and CSS
