TRAINEE PNC 2nd Shift Shipping

Job Summary
Trainee PNC 2nd Shift Shipping is responsible for transporting materials and product using a Pallet Jack or Fork Lift, unloading deliveries, performing initial quality checks, and moving finished products to the freezer. The role requires verifying conformance to vendor specifications, delivering raw materials to production, and adhering to safety and PPE requirements (Freezer gear, hard hat, hairnet/beard net, steel-toe footwear). Candidates must be able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds (team lift for heavier items), work in -10 to 40 F, communicate via radio, and complete required training and eye exams. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must maintain Pallet Jack/Forklift license and operate safely with adherence to safety policies and food safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; team lift for heavier items
- Must be able to safely and effectively operate Pallet Jack/Forklift
- Required to pass an on-site eye exam annually
- Must view training videos and pass associated tests
- Must be able to read printed materials and a computer screen; good hearing and speech for communication
- Must maintain Pallet Jack/Forklift license and operate PIE safely
- Must adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements (Freezer Gear, hard hat, hairnet/beard net, steel-toe footwear)
- Completion of assigned tasks in a safe and timely fashion without constant supervision
