Trainee Pest Control Technician

Job Summary
Pest Control Technician role covering Cambridge, Duxford and Saffron Walden areas with full-time, permanent schedule (40 hrs/week, Mon–Fri) and potential for overtime. Responsibilities include inspecting customer premises for pests, identifying risks, tackling pest problems, advising on maintenance and hygiene, completing accurate visit reports, and delivering professional customer service. Training is provided; company offers a competitive salary with expected OTE, a company vehicle and benefits package, and a relocation uplift up to £5,000 for eligible applicants. Requires a Full UK driving licence (2+ years) with up to 6 penalty points, GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred, strong communication skills, flexible working patterns, and possible DBS check.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence held for more than two years
- no more than six penalty points
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills
- Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
- DBS check may be required depending on role
