Job Summary
Trainee Paid RPR role in Islington and surrounding areas focused on advocacy for individuals deprived of liberty. Responsibilities include supporting rights, helping individuals understand options, representing decisions under the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS, raising safeguarding concerns, maintaining high-quality case records, collaborating with health and social care professionals, and contributing to awareness across services. Training pathway from shadowing to a paid RPR, with protected study time, and progression to a Paid RPR upon qualification. Emphasis on learning, travel within local area, and building trust with diverse individuals while developing a nationally recognised qualification in independent advocacy.
Required Qualifications
- Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification (enrolment)
- experience in health, social care, or lived experience welcome but not essential
