Job Summary
Trainee Paid RPR supporting people who may have limited rights under the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, learning through shadowing and supervised practice before progressing to a Paid RPR role. Responsibilities include advocating for people in hospitals and care homes, helping individuals understand their rights, and ensuring their voices shape decisions about their care. Responsibilities also cover maintaining accurate case records, identifying safeguarding concerns, working with health and social care professionals, and contributing to awareness across services. You’ll travel across Camden and surrounding areas, with development through enrolment on the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification (including IMCA and DoLS modules) and hands-on experience to prepare for independent advocacy work.
