Job Summary
Conduct daily pre-start team meetings, perform surveillance of plant equipment, and interpret process flow diagrams and piping instruments. Complete training programs covering gas processing, utilities, storage, loading, safety systems, firefighting, and emergency response. Carry out general surveillance and routine inspections to identify malfunctions, analyze samples, record data, and prepare equipment isolation using the permit-to-work system. Support the shift team during commissioning and start-up while adhering to strict HSSE protocols. Reside in Squamish or Lower Mainland Vancouver and work 12-hour rotational shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma
- 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
- Reside in Squamish or Lower Mainland Vancouver
- Prepared to work 12 hr shiftwork on a rotational basis
- Physically able to carry out operations field tasks in the facility
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years of work experience in an industrial process company
- EOCP Water Ticket
- Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
- Be motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Accepts responsibility and demonstrates a commitment to the delivery of tasks and targets
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
