Job Summary
Trainee DSA Needs Assessor who will prepare for and conduct Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) needs assessment meetings, complete formal reports, and travel as needed. Responsibilities include holding structured meetings to identify appropriate study and support strategies (including NMH/travel support), evaluating hardware, software, and assistive technology needs, and producing formal written needs assessment reports aligned with KPIs. The role requires exemplary communication and report-writing skills, awareness of DSA funding guidance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setup across East England, the Midlands, London, and Wales.
