Job Summary
Conduct pre-post-trip inspections on DOT-compliant trucks and safely operate vehicles under 26,000 pounds. Deliver products to stores, execute promotions, and unload, merchandise, and rotate inventory to PBV and customer standards. Establish relationships with primary contacts, obtain required signatures for invoice settlement, and communicate issues to store personnel and management. Maintain accurate records and ensure all DOT and FMCSA regulations are followed. Obtain a CDL permit within 45 business days of hire and pass a DOT physical prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment
- Must be able to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and 45 business days from their date of hire in which to obtain the license, if CDL is not currently held
- Positive attitude
- Detail oriented
- Ability to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time
