Job Summary
Prepare construction sites, perform excavation and groundwork activities, and complete drainage, ducting, kerbing, and paving tasks while working safely around plant and underground services. Follow site plans and instructions as part of a site team to execute highway and streetworks activities. This practical, hands-on role focuses on building a career in civils, groundworks, highways, and utilities through a fully funded Skills Bootcamp that includes industry-specific training, qualifications, and dedicated employment support leading to a guaranteed interview for a suitable live vacancy.
Required Qualifications
- Be aged 19 or over
- Live in an eligible Leicester or Leicestershire area
- Have the legal right to live and work in the UK
- Meet the relevant Skills Bootcamp funding requirements
- Be able to attend and participate in the required training
- Be interested in progressing into the civils, groundworks, highways or utilities sector
- Be willing to engage with employment support and attend an interview for a suitable live vacancy
