Job Summary
This training role sits within the CYP IAPT programme and combines academic study with supervised practice. The post holder will work as part of BDC Mind’s CYP team, providing compassionate, evidence-informed support to children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, low mood and behavioural difficulties, while developing the knowledge, skills and values needed to work effectively in an inclusive, values-driven service. The role emphasizes timely, evidence-based support; involvement of families; safeguarding recognition and escalation; well-managed caseloads with effective communication across partners; supervision and reflective practice; and ongoing professional development through training and appraisals. The role includes a six-month probation and progression through a structured training programme with academic, attendance and practice requirements, within Bradford District and Craven Mind. Required Qualifications
- Evidence of ability to study successfully at undergraduate level (level 6)
- Level 4 qualification obtained at minimum
- Equivalent through proven academic record of previous learning/formal study in Child Development, Wellbeing or Mental Health
- Evidence of numeracy skills
- Experience of working with children and/or young people
