Job Summary
Weigh products for recipes, control stock using F.I.F.O methodology, and cook items to specification while ensuring finished products are right first time. Clean pots between products, liaise on pump strips when changing species, and complete all paperwork accurately and legibly. Taste test every cooking batch with a colleague before release and take consistency readings against agreed specifications. Inform area supervisors of any potential quality issues and check with them if unsure about task standards. Work 36 hours weekly Friday-Sunday on a Grade 4 salary progressing to Grade 5 upon training completion.
