Job Summary
Manage product categories by maintaining supplier and purchasing master data, assisting with forecasts and stock planning, and monitoring pricing, sales, and margin performance. Support supplier communications, compliance, and documentation while collaborating with branches, sales teams, and stock control groups. Identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction through range reviews and data analysis for promotional activities and product launches. Produce reports to support business decisions and learn negotiation skills from experienced colleagues. This trainee role offers structured mentoring within JDP's Supply Chain and Commercial teams, with flexible hybrid working available after probation.

- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an administrative, customer service, sales, supply chain or purchasing environment
- Knowledge of the civils, drainage, or construction sector
- Experience using SAP, Phocas or similar business systems
