Job Summary
Support brokers with desk operations by resolving trade queries, inputting trades into systems, and calculating strategies. Monitor markets, follow financial news, and provide live quotes via messaging systems while maintaining up-to-date trade records and whiteboards. Liaise with clients to understand business objectives, develop new business, and onboard new clients following the correct process. Promote ICAP as a company and provide input on various projects for brokers and traders.
Required Qualifications
- Native Mandarin speaking
- Bilingual language skills in Mandarin and English
- Understands ideas and has a viewpoint on the markets and economy
- Willingness to engage with internal and external stakeholders outside of the immediate desk environment
- Communicates effectively and efficiently to internal and external stakeholders
- Builds relationships and networks with both internally and externally wherever possible
- Work experience in broking or in sales
- Demonstrates strong customer focus
- Demonstrates ability to work effectively with others
- Constructively handles disagreements to reach a resolution
- Ability to work with diverse groups/ personalities
