Trainee Auditor

Job Summary

Conduct factory production control audits and witness sample production for testing. Select samples from factories, sites, or the market for initial type testing. Carry out client operation assessments and reporting in accordance with BS EN ISO 19011 and ISO9001 standards. Suggest improvements and support implementation of process and improvement projects. Assist in conducting internal quality audits to maintain UKAS accreditations and train new auditors. Requires HNC/A Level education, strong MS Office skills, and willingness to travel across the UK and Europe with overnight stays. Offers 33 days annual holiday and flexible working options.

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to HNC / A Level standard or equivalent
  • Ability to take ownership of clients and manage issues to a successful conclusion
  • Customer focused, develop strong working relationships
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, positive and effective team player
  • Ability and willingness to travel across UK and Europe with overnight stays

Desired Qualifications

  • Ideally experienced in auditing production of products at factories within the construction industry
  • Good IT skills
  • Competent with MS Office applications: in particular MS Word
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and oral
