Job Summary
Trainee- Assembly role in powder coating, drilling and tapping at Rockwell Automation, Chennai, India. Perform assembly operations, operate and support conventional machines (punching, powder coating, drilling/tapping), follow SOPs and safety guidelines, assist in basic machine setup, measurement and inspection, and help meet daily production targets. Report to Production Supervisor / Assembly Manager; onsite schedule in Kancheepuram/Chennai. Emphasis on learning, 5S housekeeping, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a shop-floor environment. Qualifications include a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any degree, 1+ years of mechanical concepts understanding, willingness to work in a machine shop and shifts, and a proactive, disciplined attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Any Degree
- 1+ years of experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical concepts
- Willingness to work in machine shop operations
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to machine shop processes
- Good attitude, discipline, and teamwork skills
- Willing to work in shifts, if required
