Job Summary
Administers medications, provides treatments, and documents under the supervision of the charge nurse. Focuses on resident-centered care by promoting well-being and participating in the interdisciplinary team to implement the resident's care plan. Maintains a safe, welcoming home-like environment and supports dementia-sensitive, person-centered care. Requires MN CNA regulatory compliance, active MN Nurse Aide Registry, and successful completion of the trained medication aide certification. Preferred candidates have 3+ years in a skilled nursing facility and geriatric nursing experience. Shift options include day or evening with PRN hours; location is Greenbush, MN, onsite. Salary range: $21.00-$27.00 hourly (annualized to $43,680–$56,160) with benefits; EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet regulatory requirements for a certified nursing assistant in Minnesota
- Active Minnesota State Nurse Aide Registry
- Successful completion of the trained medication aide certification
- 3+ years of on-the-job experience as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
- Training and experience in geriatric nursing is preferred
