Job Summary
Train Today, Work Tomorrow: CNA career pathway through a Nursing Assistant Training Program. Classes run for 25 days, with 20 classroom hours Monday–Thursday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and 5 clinical days on site in Warwick, CT area from 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. After successful completion and orientation, you’ll be matched with a client to begin working as a nursing assistant in private-duty home care. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility and mobility-related exercises, providing adjunct patient care, monitoring food intake, and administering medication reminders. Requirements include a valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle, auto insurance in your name, strong communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, dedication, resourcefulness, compassion, and weekend availability. The program is offered by Empower Training Academy & Assured Quality Homecare, with offices in Norwich, CT and Warwick, RI, expanding services across Rhode Island and Connecticut.
