Job Summary
The Trailer Utility / Yard Utility Worker supports daily yard operations, operating forklifts safely, moving trailers and materials, and maintaining a clean, safe yard. Responsibilities include shuttle trailers, positioning trailers, washing trailers and dollies, unloading supplies, and following company safety policies. Requires active state driver’s license, 21+ years old, and availability Monday–Friday 9:00–5:30; forklift experience preferred. Compensation starts at $19.35/hour with progression to $24.19/hour; benefits described include 401(k), pension plan, healthcare, paid leave, and other union-linked provisions. Location specified as Jessup, Maryland; relocation is self-directed if needed. Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible to work; visa sponsorship not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Must have an active driver’s license issued by the state
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must be willing to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- 1–2 years of experience in yard operations or warehouse environments
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to safety and detail
