Job Summary
Deliver finished goods and raw materials to supply chain logistics departments in a safe and timely manner. Plan and manage distribution routes to manufacturing plants or retail centers while inspecting vehicles for mechanical and safety issues. Perform preventative maintenance, document work expenses, and verify delivery instructions before collecting, analyzing, and reporting defects or violations. Comply with all driving rules and regulations while managing long hours and regular travel.
Required Qualifications
- Min. 3 years of experience as a Truck Driver
- Min. 2 years of experience with electronic equipment and software such as GPS, AVL units or CB
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Good knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
- No driving violations
- Willing to submit to background/alchohol and drug checks on a regular basis
- Trucking school diploma
- Current truck driving licence
- Good knowledge of English language
- Graduated from Primary and Secondary school or Vocational school
