Job Summary
Perform preventative maintenance, FMCSA/DOT inspections, and structural repairs on dry vans and refrigerated units. Diagnose ABS faults and brake system issues using diagnostic tools like Lite Check. Execute welding tasks with stick, MIG, and TIG methods while maintaining accurate service records and communicating equipment updates to supervisors. Collaborate with drivers and team members to ensure efficient workflow and shop productivity. Requires valid driver's license, 2+ years of trailer repair experience, and ability to lift 50+ lbs. in an indoor shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable trailer repair experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own basic set of tools
- Welding experience (stick, MIG, TIG)
- Ability to diagnose ABS and brake system issues
- Computer literacy for diagnostics and documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor
Desired Qualifications
