Job Summary
Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs trailers used for transporting goods. Services, inspects, and repairs tractor-trailers; diagnoses failures and repairs mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems; uses hydraulic jacks and hoists; conducts full inspections; tests trailers after repairs; and maintains detailed service records. Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States, and provide personal maintenance tools. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of trailer mechanic experience and proficiency with diagnostic software. Ability to work in varied conditions with physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds and climbing on/off large equipment. Pay rate $32.75-$37.60 per hour; equal opportunity employer.
