Trailer Technician

Job Summary
As a Trailer Technician, you will repair, maintain, and inspect trailers and containers, performing basic to intermediate troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on various systems including hydraulic, electrical, brake, and suspension. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostics, routine PM services, structural repairs, and annual DOT inspections, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety and environmental standards. Required skills include mechanical aptitude and welding. This position is suitable for individuals who demonstrate reliability, safety consciousness, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Welding skills (stick and MIG)
- Willingness to complete drug screen, physical and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate from a diesel tech training school
- 1 year trailer service experience in a shop setting or military installation
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
