Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on trailers, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions for brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components. Repair and replace damaged or worn parts while maintaining accurate records of all work performed. Ensure all tasks are completed timely and efficiently, adhering to safety standards and regulations. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in trailer maintenance and repair
- At least 1 year of experience in trailer maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Experience with refrigeration systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
