Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Accurately document repairs and complete work orders while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations. Work Tuesday through Saturday from 1 PM to 9:30 PM in a mobile, outside, and shop environment. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' of hands-on experience performing class 7 - 8 trailer maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
- Must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods
- Must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions
- Must be able to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace
