Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards. Accurately document repairs and complete work orders while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations. This role requires 2+ years of hands-on experience with class 7-8 trailers, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license. Schedule includes Tuesday through Friday from 10:00am to 8:00pm with weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' of hands-on experience performing class 7 - 8 trailer maintenance and repairs
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)
- Ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace
