Job Summary
Conduct accident repairs on dry van, reefer trucks, and trailers, including rails, panels, roofs, doors, floors, welding, and fabrication. Perform DOT and preventative inspections on box and flatbed trailers by replacing airlines, repairing brakes and brake chambers, fixing suspension bushings, and addressing lighting and wiring issues. Execute welding and fabrication of parts while maintaining a safety-first mindset. This role requires 2 years of verifiable experience, own tools, and reliable transportation, with some overtime and M-F scheduling including Saturdays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accident repairs, electrical systems, hydraulics, braking systems, suspension, doors, and sub-frames
- Must have tools and transportation
- Training program for applicants who have experience in housing/building construction
- Safety first mindset
- Must possess 2 year of verifiable experience in a similar capacity
- Resilient work ethic and a commitment to extra hours when needed
- Strong Communication Skills: ability to work in a team environment
- Must possess own tools
- Required to have reliable transportation
- M-F & some Saturdays, as needed
