Job Summary
Qualified trailer mechanic responsible for maintaining trailer equipment for a Fortune 500 package delivery company; perform FAI and State required inspections, inspect/repair S-cam air brake systems, diagnose/repair ABS, repair commercial trailers and converter dollies, and complete related paperwork. Must have 1–3 years of trailer/chassis experience, possess basic tools, pass a background check, and pursue DOT inspections, air brake certifications, and ASE certification; MIG welding preferred. Flexible shifts (4-10), relocation options nationwide, and company benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Mechanic: 1-3 years as a trailer/chassis mechanic (or similar). Possess most required tools.
- Must be able to pass background check.
- Will be willing to become certified in DOT inspections, Air brake certifications, ASE certification.
