Job Summary
Perform PMs and inspections on commercial trailers, handling suspension, brake, wheel end, air system, and running gear repairs. Troubleshoot and repair 12V electrical systems, execute light fabrication and parts replacement, and install toolboxes, ramp kits, and other trailer accessories. Prepare sold trailers for delivery while managing repairs, PMs, and setup work primarily on dry vans, flatbeds, and step decks. Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with no weekend shifts. Earn $30–$35/hr based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of trailer or heavy truck mechanic experience
Desired Qualifications
- Trailer experience is preferred
- Heavy truck experience is welcome
- CDL is not required, but it's a plus
