Job Summary
Diagnose failures and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other systems on tank trailers, including suspension installation and air brake systems. Execute tank service and repairs while effectively inspecting equipment to align with DOT standards, HM183, and hazmat requirements. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Beaumont branch, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and navigating confined spaces. DOT inspection certification and tank trailer repair experience are required. Optional TIG welding skills and a proven safety program support mission-critical services for a global leader in tank trailer container services.
Required Qualifications
- DOT inspection certified

- Demonstrated skill in most of the following areas: The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer
- Tank service and repair
- Trailer suspension installation and repair
- Experience with air brake systems and repairs
- Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
Desired Qualifications
- TIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (optional)
