Job Summary
Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on trailers, converter dollies, light-duty vehicles, and other company equipment while adhering to federal, state, and local requirements. Complete routine maintenance tasks including PM inspections, FHWA inspections, and general repairs. Diagnose, repair, and replace electrical components on trailers. Use the maintenance system to create, update, and complete work orders and vehicle records. Assist with purchasing, receiving, and tracking parts to ensure proper charging to work orders. Pitch in with general cleaning and shop upkeep. This role supports Mauser Packaging Solutions' Private Fleet team, keeping essential products moving globally across food, personal care, paints, and chemicals industries.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of fleet trailer maintenance and repair experience
- Working knowledge of FMCSRs and DOT compliance requirements
- Air brake certification
- Familiarity with OEM and component diagnostic software
- Your own hand tools (1⁄2” drive and under)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification
- CDL Class A
