Job Summary
Perform maintenance service on 48ft. and 53ft. dry van trailers, repairing suspension, landing gear, wheel, brake, electrical, and frame components. Execute preventative maintenance inspections, perform service calls, and conduct road tests to verify repair quality. Maintain welding and metal fabrication skills while washing and fueling equipment. Record all work and labor in the EMS system and collaborate with the Parts Department to manage inventory levels. Ensure the shop environment complies with OSHA, EPA, and DOT safety standards. Work Sunday through Friday in shifts ranging from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM or 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic math skills
- Fluent in English
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to pass a drug screen
