Job Summary
Perform daily driving assignments, organize and maintain the lot for New, Used, Lease, and Service trailers, and complete truck inspections at the start of each shift. Receive frequent instructions from all departments, communicate via cell phone or email, and ensure trailer rows remain straight with accurate spacing. Utilize software to check in trailers, clean trash and debris, monitor bulk supplies, and operate a forklift with daily checklists. Assist the shop supervisor and technicians with production activities, minor repairs, and snow removal as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the customer service area, locker room, and office while keeping the drop area empty. Categorize and recycle scrap metal, fluids, cardboard, and skids. Work in a moderate to high noise environment requiring the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and climb into jockey trucks continuously. No weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds
- Must be capable of continuously climbing up and down into a jockey truck
- Must be able to operate a forklift
Desired Qualifications
- 3-6 months related experience/training
