Job Summary
Inspect intermodal units arriving and departing the railroad facility, checking unit numbers and containers for damage while ensuring security seals remain intact. Document any damage with timeliness and accuracy, communicating findings directly to supervisors via appropriate forms or computer systems. Maintain a clean, organized inspection area by picking up debris and comply with HAZMAT and OSHA regulations, including wearing required PPE. Ensure all company policies and procedures are met while working safely in outdoor conditions with frequent noise and potential hazards from moving vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test
- Applicants MUST currently live within a 45 minute commute of business location
- OUT OF AREA candidates and/or those requiring a relocation will NOT be considered
- You will be an employee of Pacific Trailer Repair Services and not an employee of the Railroad
