Job Summary
Lead trailer repair team; supervise technicians, ensure high-quality repairs, and maintain safety standards while optimizing workflow in the trailer department. Manage work orders and documentation, verify scope and hours, update Karmak, monitor labor and material usage against estimates, coordinate with parts, provide feedback to improve efficiency, and ensure timely job completion. Conduct daily quality checks, finish inspections, and sign off on work orders per scope. Communicate with service managers, estimators, and customers to align repair expectations and re-quoting when needed; uphold safety policies and a clean, organized shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trailer repair with prior supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brake and electrical
- Leadership and communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
