Job Summary

Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers by fixing structural components, lighting systems, and brake assemblies. Perform preventive maintenance inspections, weld, fabricate, and replace roofs, sidewalls, and doors while ensuring all work meets DOT and company safety standards. Maintain accurate repair documentation and keep the work area clean. Valid driver's license required with experience in diesel, heavy equipment, or fleet mechanics preferred. Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Fleet Mechanic, or related mechanical position
  • Valid driver's license required

  • Experience repairing commercial trailers preferred
  • Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
