Job Summary
Assemble trailer frames and mechanical components from drawings, installing 12V electrical systems, mounting accessories, and connecting basic hydraulic components. Fabricate hoses using crimping equipment and work with brakes, couplers, and safety systems while utilizing hand and power tools daily. Reference assembly drawings and visual QC guides on shop computers to test functions before completion, troubleshooting fitment issues as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. This hands-on role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with 3-5 years of trailer or utility equipment assembly experience, offering a stable 4-day work week with competitive pay and full benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on mechanical assembly or trailer/build experience
- Strong comfort working with tools and mechanical systems
- Ability to read basic drawings or assembly instructions
- Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving ability
- High school diploma
- Experience from trailer shops or similar environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with trailer wiring (12V systems)
- Basic understanding of hydraulics (hoses, pumps, fittings)
