Job Summary
Trafficking Advocate position within Heartland Family Service's trafficking team. Provides crisis intervention, comprehensive case management, safety planning, and advocacy for survivors of human trafficking, collaborating with law enforcement and community organizations. Role emphasizes trauma-informed social work, individualized stability planning, data entry and reporting, and ensuring access to program services across various settings (client homes, shelters, office space). Requires strong interpersonal skills, decision-making, travel within the community, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include coordinating with partners to remove barriers for survivors, developing and monitoring plans, and contributing to fundraising and program improvement efforts. Wage ranges from $19.74 to $23.54 per hour, with 37.5 hours per week schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree and two years experience in social services or related field
- Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
