Traffic Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Review and coordinate the design of traffic management and ITS systems for airport landside infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local authority requirements, and international standards. Examine engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and design submissions for CCTV, variable message signs, traffic signal systems, and incident detection while resolving design clashes using BIM and digital coordination platforms. Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved designs, monitor installation and commissioning activities, and witness factory and site acceptance tests. Coordinate integration with Civil, Roads, Electrical, ICT, Security, Airfield, Mechanical, and Architectural disciplines, and prepare engineering reports, design review comments, and progress updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Traffic Systems or ITS Engineering
- Experience on airport, transportation, highways, or major infrastructure projects
- Experience in design review, construction supervision, and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of ITS and traffic management systems
- Familiarity with airport operational requirements
- Knowledge of BIM coordination
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer registration
- Experience on international airport projects
- Knowledge of ICAO, ITS, and transportation standards
- Experience under FIDIC contracts
