Job Summary
Coordinate with customers, carriers, riggers, and warehouse teams to route inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining tariffs and tracking machine deliveries. Request freight quotes from preferred carriers, process SAP deliveries for invoicing, and review freight bills for correct rates. Update shipping status in Edocs and notify stakeholders via email or phone to confirm scheduled deliveries. Maintain a list of carriers meeting traffic requirements and prepare special reports as needed. Perform physical inventory at showrooms or warehouses and file related traffic documents. Requires 1-2 years of domestic logistics experience and familiarity with the sheet metal machine industry.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of at least 1-2 years in domestic logistics and shipping documents
- Familiarity with sheet metal machine industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and stay organized
- Ability to work harmoniously with others
- Ability to accept and follow instructions
- Ability to maintain positive attitude
- Very little travel
- Travel may be required during physical inventory
- LIFTING: Average Weight: 15 lbs. Frequency: Not often
Desired Qualifications
- Computer knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office, Windows a plus
