Traffic Safety Officer

Conduct all traffic control operations and personnel management under the direction of the Segment Traffic Control Manager. Administer the Traffic Management Plan developed with Construction Managers and ensure field operations remain compliant. Provide limited supervision through motivation, direction, and feedback of assigned tasks while maintaining timely support for construction activities. Ensure safety and compliance with the Traffic Management plan in all operations. Requires TEEX certification in Work Zone traffic control and ten years of progressive responsibility in similar positions on large highway or utility relocation projects.
