Job Summary
In the role of Traffic Project Manager, you will perform engineering analysis and documentation related to traffic safety and operations, manage project analysis and deliverables, and coordinate the drafting of project deliverables. The position requires strong communication and organization skills, as well as proficiency in project-specific software, with an emphasis on collaboration with clients and other stakeholders. Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil transportation and traffic engineering, a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, and a licensed PE in Massachusetts or the intention to obtain licensure within one year.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of diverse and progressive civil transportation and traffic engineering experience
- Licensed PE in the state of MA or planning to obtain licensure within one year
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent communication and client relation skills
- Strong organization skills with a track record for adhering to design budgets and schedules
- Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner
Desired Qualifications
- PTOE License
- Experience working with public agencies and/or municipalities
- MassDOT experience
- Experience developing plans analysis and reports per DOT standards and requirements
- Advanced use of project-specific software such as CADD, Synchro, HCS, SIDRA, Vissum
