Job Summary
Design traffic data models for the US Space Force SDA GMI program by decomposing requirements into satellite constellation to ground network flows. Schedule and analyze missile tracking data to validate models, while identifying AI opportunities for continuous improvement. Manage development, integration, testing, and maintenance of ground operational systems and infrastructure for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. Requires TOP SECRET clearance, 8+ years experience, and satellite RF protocol expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 8+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
- Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Agile experience
Desired Qualifications
- Recent modeling of communication data, preferably using satellite constellations and ground networks
- Recent Satellite to Ground RF communication protocol experience
- End to end packet prioritization and routing experience
- Traffic modeling experience
- Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture
- Sensor fusion techniques
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
