Job Summary
Develop and deploy ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture by decomposing requirements into traffic data flow models or missile tracking architectures. Perform pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling of satellite services to track missiles and analyze tracking data to validate models or fuse information for rapid dissemination. Integrate, test, and maintain operations centers and enterprise capabilities while identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement. Requires an active Secret clearance obtainable to Top Secret, US citizenship, and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience. Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 8+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Recent modeling of communication data, preferably using satellite constellations and ground networks
- Recent Satellite to Ground RF communication protocol experience, end to end packet prioritization and routing, or traffic modeling experience
- Recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms
- Recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters
- Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture, and sensor fusion techniques
- Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
- Research oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation's security
- Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)
