Job Summary
Traffic Management Operative responsible for overseeing traffic management methods on schemes, including Stop/Go boards, portable signals, convoy operations, road/lane closures, and diversions. Must ensure safe working practices, carry out risk assessments and method statements, verify compliance with Red Book ARTSM guidance, monitor site conditions, conduct daily vehicle checks, and promote a positive safety-focused company image. Requires ability to read CAD drawings, familiarity with Chapter 8 and related street works safety standards, and a valid UK driving licence. Role involves day and night shifts, weekends as required, and adherence to LANTRA qualifications; locations in Austell and St Austell, Cornwall, UK; onsite remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Lantra 12d accreditation as a minimum TTMBC, 12d (M1-M2)
- Lantra 12 a/b accreditation, IPV driver, foreman advantageous
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Be able to read and understand CAD drawings, in relation to the works required
