Job Summary
Traffic Management Operative/Chargehand role on Cormac's Surfacing and Civil Engineering sites. Undertake traffic management to Sector Scheme 12D, marshal traffic and pedestrians, and supervise staff delivering a wide range of manual tasks. Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, be a team player with good communication, possess CSCS registration or equivalent, and hold a valid driving licence. Responsibilities include safety of self, colleagues and the public, PPE usage, reporting safety incidents, and observing environmental practices. The role offers a permanent, full-time position based in the Cornwall/Plymouth area with a structured working pattern and opportunities for training and safeguarding health and wellbeing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of M1 / M2
- CSCS Registration or equivalent in a related area
- Minimum 12 months experience within Traffic Management
- Full clean driving licence
- Health and Safety knowledge/qualifications
- Traffic Management knowledge
