Job Summary
Traffic Engineers and Designers at AECOM are being sought across junior, mid, and senior levels to work on transportation projects in the southern US. Key responsibilities include signing & pavement markings and traffic signal design; CAD design work (Traffic CAD Designers) using Bentley MicroStation and Open Roads; experience with design-build or alternative delivery projects; knowledge of interstate design and complex interchanges. Candidates should have a BS in Engineering (or equivalent) with related experience, EIT or PE preferred, and state DOT experience. The role is expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office, with relocation assistance potentially available. Sponsorship for US employment is not offered.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for CAD Designers
- BS Degree in Engineering + 2 years related experience for Junior Level Engineers
- BS Degree in Engineering + 6 years related experience for Mid-Level Engineers
- BS Degree in Engineering + 10 years related experience for Senior Level Engineers/Task Leads
- Preferred Qualifications: EIT Certification or PE License
- State DOT experience
- Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book and MUTCD
